HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY STATEMENT

Allclean, as a Cleaning Contractor has a widely varying spectrum of activities. For this reason, this statement should be used in tandem with individual statements attached to estimates, quotations or other contract related documents from time to time.

The main points of our Health and Safety Policy are as follows-

1. Ultimate responsibility for Health and safety rests with the Proprietor of the Company

a.      Barry Webb has been appointed Health & Safety Officer responsible as the proprietor of the Company.

2.      In the event of reportable accidents or incidents the following are to be notified, all of whom are to carry out investigations to their own requirements-

a.      The Health & Safety Executive

b.      The Clients Health & Safety Officer

c.       Allclean Management

3.      The majority of work carried out by Allclean is on customer's premises thereby creating individual risk assessment requirements for most jobs.

a.      Allclean personnel are trained to assess individually and manage risks in their working environment, which affect themselves and others.

b.      All personnel must receive Site Induction Training at first arrival on Building Sites and where appropriate at other sites of work.

4.      All Personnel are trained in COSHH.

5.      All vehicles carry First Aid Kits and COSHH data files.

6.      All permanent sites have COSHH data files available for use.

7.      Individual Health & Safety Statements combined with Method Statements have been created and are available on request for-

a.      Window Cleaning

b.      Pressure Washing

c.       Carpet Cleaning

d.      High level Powered Access

e.      Access Towers

f.        Use of Ladders

g.      Use of Harnesses

h.      Handling of hazardous waste
